Strengthening Our Bonds: Join Us for TogetherTuesday!
At the heart of Powerland Heritage Park is a massive collection of incredible machinery, historic buildings, and preserved heritage. But if you ask anyone who spends their weekends tinkering in the shops or guiding visitors through our museums, they will tell you that our greatest asset isn't the hardwareβitβs the people.
To celebrate the incredible community that keeps our gears turning, we are thrilled to spotlight TogetherTuesday, a recurring community event dedicated entirely to camaraderie, connection, and conversation.
What is TogetherTuesday?
TogetherTuesday is our dedicated space to pause the heavy lifting, step out of our respective museum bubbles, and simply enjoy each otherβs company. Whether you are a life-long volunteer, a member of a specific partner museum, or a friend of Powerland who wants to feel more connected, this event is for you.
Itβs an informal gathering designed to:
Share Stories: Swap updates on current restoration projects, talk history, or just catch up on life.
Build Bridges: Connect with volunteers and members from all the different partner organizations across the campus.
Fuel Our Mission: Big ideas often start over small talk. TogetherTuesday is a fantastic sounding board for new collaborations.
Why Your Presence Matters
Powerland thrives because of a shared passion, but it stays strong because of our community spirit. TogetherTuesday is a reminder that we are all part of one big family working toward the same goal: keeping history alive. Taking the time to connect face-to-face builds the trust, friendships, and camaraderie that make volunteering here so rewarding.
Join the Circle
We invite you to bring your stories, your laughs, and your appetite for good conversation to the next gathering. Keep an eye on our campus calendar and weekly announcements for exact times and meeting locations on the grounds.
Come as you are, pull up a chair, and letβs celebrate the community that makes Powerland such a special place to belong. We can't wait to see you there!
On Sunday, June 21st, Dads and Grandads get to ride the trolley for the price of a Youth ticket ($3 β Other Guests pay regular ride ticket price). The museum will be open from 9 am to 2:30 pm at Powerland Heritage Park.
